Abstract—The molecular dynamics method was used to calculate the frequency dependences of the dielectric
constant for water clusters and the IR absorption spectra of water clusters containing from 5 to 90 molecules.
The frequency dependences of the phase difference between the electric displacement (D) and electric field
strength (E) vectors and the dielectric loss spectra for clusters were determined. The dependences of the maximum
value of the coefficient of absorption of IR radiation by clusters and the frequency at which it occurs on
the cluster size were determined.
